It did for me...The Bosch platnum plugs all fouled out in less than 500 miles..on an engine with only 35k on it. I put AC's back in it and had no more problems.
Champion gold palladium plugs...1200 miles and shot. NGK copper core's, same, same.
None of the plugs I have tried would out last AC's. Most were no worse than AC. None were better, but they all cost more.
