Fuel was checked after, by removing the hose from the fuel filter's exit, and again cranking the engine. Gasoline streamed out.
I was considering the possiblity of injectors being a problem, but it seems unlikely they'd all fail at once.
There doesn't seem to be any abnormal sound while cranking.

Have you scanned for any Onboard computer codes?
The injectors and ignition timing are fired by the EEC when triggered by the Camshaft Position sensor, and/or the Crankshaft position sensor.
I would check the connectors/connections sensors and the EEC. Sensor function can be checked with a DVOM.
