Re: McLaren F1 GTR in Bahrain

Sound reasoning Peloton. I was wondering who would pay the outrageous amount being asked for 07R. It makes much more sense to take another GTR and give it the same look. I am sure if this is the Adrenaline car, it would have cost a lot less to bring it to this spec.

Cabrio, what do you mean, Dubai? From the title of the thread, I thought the car was in Bahrain.

Dubai is one of the Emirates on the Arabian Gulf; it's part of the UAE, or the United Arab Emirates. Bahrain is a separate country, geographically and politically. I am pretty sure they don't share a border either.

The silver Porsche in the same series of pictures bears a current license plate from Bahrain. The white one is a slightly older version. Both of them say Al Bahreen at the top left and the white Porsche's plate says kha-soo-meyun or khas-wa-meen (or something along those lines) on the bottom right. Dunno what it means, probably "private", but it's all definitely Bahrain. Dunno where you're getting Dubai from?

As I am sure most people on here know already, there's another McLaren F1 in Dubai--it's silver (groan) and it belongs to Sheikh Muhammad bin Salayim, a World Rally Champion. Incidentally, all Dubai license plates have the text on the left, or top center.
