As long as it is based on the 4.6 block design, it should bolt right in! The PCM is really what sets the power output of the engine, so that is just a matter of programming. The real key to this question is can the tranny hold up to it. Fords main weakness in any vehicle is the transmission, especially in their SuperDuty trucks, the new torqueshift has major problems with the reverse sprag backing out of the case, and the 4R100 with weak torque converters and reverse packs not holding up to the power of the diesel engines. I remember when I rebuilt my AOD I replaced the 2 piece input shaft with a 1 piece billet so I wouldnt tear up the overdrive or the torque converter with the increase HP from my blue printed 5.0. I dont know the design of the AODE that they are running, but they do have weaknesses as well.

Besides if they can put the DOHC into the Marauder, they should have no problems doing the same with the CV.
