Re: 2007 Skyline
If a V8 was put in it would be okay but they probaly won't beacause how high the gas prices are and if you knew how hight the prices are in Japan (I think it is around 5 bucks a gallon) they'll probaly stick with the twin turbo v6 and not even worry about the V8. It's a good car with the V6 and it dosen't need a V8. Then if they put a V8 in they would need to replace alot of the Drivetrain in order to handle the power and torque it wouldn't be very cost effective like the one guy said and they probaly won't do much to the motor but what should I say im not Nissan they could all suprise us with an optional V8. But if I was Nissan I would give the optional V8 to anyone who wanted it, but over in Japan no one would want the V* (most likely not) they want to rip apart their little I4 and build them up to be ricers and street racers without paying high insurance. (I'm not saying I4's suck because I said their little) If I bought a Skyline I would want the V6, better feul economy and a V8 would ruin the sound of them and it would feel like more of a muscle car, but it would make the handling a lot different than the lighter cars and probaly woudn'y be as fast but they probaly would. If I was Nissan I would keep the Twin turbo V6 and give the option of a Standard V8 or turbocharged V8 one of the two and thats what I think.
