it would be the same as what is called a mini swap, except you would use the vtec-e head and you would have to re-wire for OBD1. As someone sugested, if your not good with wiring an HF drivetrain should give you similiar MPG, but a lot less power, but it would be an easier install (same OBD generation). But I think the Vtec-E engine would be better, more drivable (more power), but still get a great MPG number....
Don't listen to those who say its not worth it, if you drive a lot of miles, and you like your car, its definitly worth it (assuming you do the labour yourself), and the savings will show themselves...
