Don't go back to that mechanic....it could be lots of things he just picked the ones that would make him the most money.
Is the SES light on?
When was the last time it had a tune-up?
Does it run okay? Any spitting, sputtering, or stalling? Rough idle?
Do you smell fuel?
Where does the temperature gauge read when it is warmed up?
