Hey, I have an 84 Ram B250 Van.. Look on the firewall, it should be a silver box, with a wire harness running to it that plugs in. But there is a screw that goes in the middle of the harness that holds it in tight & snug.. Look there.. If thats not it, hit me back, i got all the books, i can help ya...
