If you REALLY want to get technical about weight reduction... I've seen where they take and pretty much strip the car out and then have all tires on scales... then to balance the car out they add weight to different areas... end result--A well balanced car!!! lol I think I saw it on the SPEED channel or the like...
As for the RX7... I would have to say you would see nothing but taillights... A friend of mine has had two of them in the past and the one thing I love about the rotary is that there isn't a power curve!!! it's a power line!!! I think they are fun cars.... but not as fun as a turbo'd eclipse!!
