I know many say you should only use new OEM alternators, but Im curious as to if a high output alternator would work or not? I have a pretty big stereo system and I know that's draining on my system. I'm also putting in a lot of extra lights. Anyways I think my alternator is going bad so I figured I could put in the heavy duty.
Also I went to play in the mud ysterday. 24 hours later, my battery is dead. Does anyone think the two have any correlation?
