Actually, you dont need any tools. I took mine apart by hand. I did cut myself but that part of the fun. And the clips are metal not plastic. They should stay stuck to the plastic piece when you pull it off but I lost one right next to the alarm LED. It fell into the vent. All the others clipped back in no problem. And it looks like it did when it was new. And the HUD works!
