I love mine. I bought a EX 4x4 because I live in MN. Here we get snow sometimes a lot.
I bought mine due to a few factors:
Warranty - Honda and Toyota can't touch this.
Style - Most people mistake it for a luxury SUV. When I first saw one, I thought it was at least $30,000-$40,000 SUV. I never thought it was a KIA.
Power & Towing - It have enough power and torque to tow my 17ft boat.
Drive - It drive very solid compare to driving a CRV or Highlander (eggshell drive). The drive is comparible to a Honda Pilot.
Interior - solid like the Honda pilot not thin like the CRV&Highlander.
I drove off the lot with 37miles on it. With the same price I paid I could also get a Honda Pilot w/37,000 miles on it. However, who wants a used SUV when you can get a new one off the lot for the same price. Honda and Toyota could come close to the warranty Kia was offering. I still love mine here's a pic:
