Re: Ticking Noise/Timing Belt

well first off i have to yell, pretend its all capitalized, wd-40 is no form of a lube. and never ever ever be used as on, especally on rubber, it will eat the rubber away, get some belt ease for the serpentine belt, on calm voice now, change the serpentine belt because of the wd 40, and usually (dont know if i cant hear it) a click click click sound is lifters not having oil up to them, check the oil level, if its low, put more in it, then figgure out why, im not asken if youve seen oil laying around, just check it, or it could the the "fan noise" and if it is the fans sound, its kind of like a rubbing, then yes, most s 10's do make that noise, in fact most vehicals do after a while, you can either A. leave it, its not hurting nothing, or be replace the fan and fan clutch, pain in the ass, or if you dont do it, expencive and not worth it, hope ive helped, and please never again lube anything with something ment to display water, and took 40 times to get it right
