Your correct, it is the serpentine belt. I have install a new PCV, that's not it. As far as the WD-40, I only did this a couple of times, with about 1 sec. burtst. I thought it would get to the belt. The Chev. dealer cannot help. All I get out of them is, "Almost all S-10's do it". I can't buy that. I have been to several places and still no one can give me the answer, except, "we can replace the belt". That's like throwing darts, hoping to hit on what it may be. I have been told, "Drive it, can't hurt anything". I suppose not. It's been doing this a couple thousand miles now.
