I'm reluctant to comment on this specific incident as I haven't been able to secure certain facts. Why did the escort fail to stop or slow? Why was the Joint Command not notified of the success and location of the rescue- and the specifics regarding the evacuation? There appears to be a communication breakdown in this "Coalition". One more senseless incident in a thoroughly senseless war.
