I always used a door tool or something on my older vehicles. But you bring up a valid secondary question in "how you put it back". The instructions don't say and maybe it does just pop back in. Yeah, I gotta fox my window this weekend and I had a quick look at the door and just couldn't figure out how to remove that handle.. I'll try it this weekend and let you know.
