Angry 97 Eclipse with clutch pedal problems.

We had a shop put a new clutch in for my sister several months ago but the clutch pedal was never just right. It engages way down on the floor. The car did not run when we got it for her so I have no way of knowing how it should feel etc. I have driven many sticks and it is just not right. I pumped the clutch several times and bled it after we got it back and it seemed better but still not just right. We let her have the car and she has been driving it but last night she called and said she could not get it in gear and that it raked a few times on the way to school. I drove in and swaped her cars last night and drove it home. I pumped it up several times and it was ok. The clutch pedal seems to sometimes stick or gets hung up a bit about 1/2 way up. It still engages only a few inches from the floor so I know something is wrong. It has like the slave cylinder and then above it it has another...something? that the hydrolic lines come from to the slave cyl. I am not sure I bleed it correctly either. Do you all think I need to get a new slave cyl...Other thing? Is that the master? Any ideas would be great. I'm new to these DSM cars. I just love it. I would like to get myself one to drive to work when I don't want to get the Trans Am out in bad weather.
Thanks a lot for any advice!
Rob
