That was a big swing and a miss.
Any public funded program has to be color blind. Private organizations can be as open or as restrictive as they want to be - its their money. If there is an award show for one legged - six toed nose pickers, would you say they are being exclusionairy? (btw, that might be a more entertaining award show then the oscars will be).
