A 4.5 liter VQ block...I've seen a VQ30 torn down and there was a healthy bit of spacing between the cylinders. The VQ35 is stroked AND bored so that will cut that down some. I don't imagine you could possibly get another liter out of the VQ block without having utterly paper thin cylinder walls and stroking the crank til it was near hitting the bottom of the block. Even then I doubt you would have another full liter.
