starting fluid is crap, you shouldn't need it, plus it can distroy piston rings, make the engine become dependent, or start a fire. etherway you don't have a carburetor, instead, you would spray it in the throttle body(mounted on top of the intake manifold for SOHC, on the side for DOHC)

try connecting the jumper cables again, let the jumper car run for a little bit to let the dead battery charge for a few minutes first. then try starting the dead car at part throttle(wide-open throttle puts the car in clear flood mode, closed throttle won't let enough air without the ideal IAC position stored in the computer's KAM)
