you mean nitrides of oxide(nox)
to answer your question the missing vac. lines could cause nox depending on how big the leak is, i'm not too familiar with your particular car but the IAC in most vehicles will compensate(by allowing less air to bypass the throttle). try to find a vac. diagram and hook thoose lines up. your nox problem is more likely to be from the inoperable EGR valve. the air that is injected into the intake, takes up space in the combustion chamber and does not burn, so it reduces the temperature of the chamber. this in turn reduces nox production which occurs at 2500 degrees F.
