Hi,the stereo fault will either be the head unit faulty or there will be no 12 volt constant feed to the unit.Remove the radio and probe the wires making sure it has the required voltage.

For the battery light flickering it sounds like it's a loose connection at the alternator,i'd check the wire connections...the fact that the light comes on after 4000rpm's indicates that one of the terminals is loose.(how did you test the alternator?)have a play around with all the terminals while someone checks the dash to check for the apperance of the light.

As for the speakers can't you just drill out the old rivets?
