The stabilizer light comes on in the dash and the system automatically starts breaking the car. The car vibrates and you cannot realy brake or accelerate while the system in active. We have a friend you bought their Denali 2 weeks after us and drives the same roads we do. Their system has never activated. The dealer has found no system errors. We will soon be having a diagnostic computer hooked up to the car to capture exactly what is happening as this seems to be a very rare occurrence with a low number of Yukons.
If you drive in California, most on-ramps are designed for speeds in excess of the 15 mph limit suggested by the previous thread.
BTW: The dealer's recommendation was to simply turn of the stabili-trak system every time we start the car. This does not seem safe. I wonder if they would put that in writing.
