Every four years ONE OF THE BIG THREE GOES ON STRIKE. So that means that if they go on strike don't buy a car that year, Let's see In Oct. 1969 I bought a 1970 Nova. GM was on the longest strike in GM history. Best damn car I have ever had. Well the GTO is more then likely the best.
In 1997 as in every year there's a strike. The UAW strikes one of the "Big 3". It doesn't strike any one part of a company. It strikes ALL of a company. No one crosses a picket line. To this day I won't cross a picket line. I won't cross if there is a 7 year old kid with a sign that says "I don't like comic books". So quality controll wasn't on strike. GM was.
6 months is just a number. Could have been 3. Don't care. What 3 people that have forgot more about cars then most pepole have learned are trying to say is; DON'T FLASH A TRANS, EVER. Again; It's your car, FLASH AWAY.
