Bugger!
Was in a friends Evo a couple of months back. It does a 12.3 quarter mile, so hence, its F**K*N quick. It was a little wet (like it always is in an Auckland winter) and he decided that he wanted to plant the right foot to race some little Mazda thing. When he did all four wheels let go of the tarmac and we were doing fish tails all over the show. We though this was a little bit more fun than racing the mazda until we ran over a nail in the road which totally shreaded the tyre. The dude had new tyres on the way anyway so he wasnt to concerned. We all though we would jump out and give him a hand. He is obsessed with security and has a locking nut on every stud. It wasnt until he came to take off the wheel that he realised he didnt have his lock nut key! He ended up having to get his car towed because he lived in Waiuku, about an hour and a half away and didnt want to leave his car on the side of the road at 1 in the morning. The tow truck bill was just shy of 100 bucks. The moral of the story is to always carry a key for your wheel nuts!
