Guys wanting to buy an air intake setup...check this out first

Guys, in our ever ending quest to save some cash and get the best bang for the buck, I'm going to show you guys the place where I just ordered all of my new intake setup from. If some of you guys are wanting to do an aftermarket intake, but are alittle strapped for cash, you can build one, as good if not better, than the K&N,etc. Here's the website.

Ok, I'm going to post up a few of the things I just ordered. First off, I currently have the Airaid intake setup with Modular intake tube. I just don't really care for the MIT, because it just seems restrictive in places. I want to go with a full 4" tube from throttlebody to the filter.
For measurement purposes, I'll post up a few.
Throttlebody is 4"
Mass airflow sensor, throttlebody side is 3.5"
Mass airflow sensor, air filter side is 4"

Here's a few pics of what all I ordered. I really hope some of you guys will fab yourselves up some intakes. You'll love the results and take more pride in it because you built it yourselves. Oh, yeah, and total parts including a universal k&n cone filter will cost you about $100. Can't beat that.

Here's a pic of the 4" intake tubing I ordered. I ordered 3 ft of it to have some to play with.

Here's a pic of the 90 degree bent rubber connector I bought to come out from the throttle body and connect to the intake tubing

Here's a picture of the hump hose I ordered to connect the 4" intake tubing to the Mass airflow sensor.

I ordered about 5 of these clamps to have handy

Ok, I already have the Airaid kit, which includes the airaid air filter and the heat shield. You can go to Jegs or Summitracing and pick up a 4" universal cone filter.
For the heat shield, you can go to Lowes or Home Depot and get some 1/16" sheet aluminum.
I'll post up some pics when everything arrives and I get everything together. A buddy of mine just ordered from these guys and has everything on his truck. It looks better than my setup, and I paid so much more for everything.
