New steel fuel rail-vapor lock

After the new steel fuel rail was installed my 1995 Aurora would not start after the engine was very hot and sat idle for a few moments.
When the engine cooled down it would start and run just fine. Is there any way to keep this new steel fuel rail cool from the engine heat?
The metal mountings to the fuel rail are attached directly to the engine block and transmit the heat to the fuel rain directly.
Any help would be appreciated,
