Transmission question

Hello
I am new to the forums and have a question.
I just purchased a 95 Blazer with the 4.3 vortec and 114000 miles on the od. It was built in Oct of 94 but was registered and sold as a 95. I bought it from my nephew who was the second owner and I believe it has the OBD l as there is no computer sitting on top of the coolant tank.
I would like to do a complete transmission oil change, as my nephew was not too big on maintenance.
I had a Volvo and did a complete transmission change by draining the pan and disconnecting the oil return line from the cooler and running the engine, pumping out 12 quarts while pouring in the new oil. (It does not pump out faster than you can pour it in)
My question; in your opinion is it possible to do the same thing on the Blazer and if so would anyone know which line is the return. It would save having to crack both fittings to get the pressure line from the cooler.
The radiator fan occasionally contacts the bottom of the shroud. Think the engine mounts are going bad? Other than that it seems to be in fine shape.
Thanks, LS
