The leaking injector will cause some of the cylinders to run a little more rich do to increased fuel seeping into some of the cylinders.
This will cause carbon buildup which will eventually break off and block open the EGR valve.
Also, I will note, my fuel economy dropped 1-2 mpg when I had my ECM flashed with the latest updates.
I don't know why, but I did see a drop.
