you cant run high psi on a gsr either, most hondas aren't made for running high amounts of pressure. you can still do it, but your motor gets put under stress. and high compression pistons dont affect things ALL that much. and clate, your kinda wrong with your comment on ITR's aren't good to turbocharge. it all depends on if you do it right. drag turbo's are turbos especially made for the ITR, and are street legal. They are high quality kits, and work very well. so, teg#1, i would go with the type r, despite clates somewhat misleading comments. best of luck
