Not even 72 lbs, that's what i'm getting at... 72 lbs would be completely dry to a completely full fuel system. I don't know anyone who runs their tank that low

I was just saying, if you are close to where you gas was at, say at about 1/4 tank, or at about 1/2 tank, it's close enough for comparison purposes. the other G20 that weighed in, was 165lbs heavier than mine, that's with a sub box, baby seat, etc... but that's a BIG difference, that's not a couple gallons of gas difference. If you had a racecar and had to have it at a certain weight for hp/weight ratio or something like that, then yes, every drop of fuel is going to matter, but for a "just wondering what my car weighs" thing, it's not going to matter if you are off by a gallon or so. I wasn't getting at don't be accurate, i was more trying to get at, does 6-10lbs really matter on a 2700+lb vehicle, one gallon in my car, with me in it (2850lbs) equals about 0.2% change in total weight.. that's nothing. Now, in cornerweighting, or front/rear distribution, it will play a slightly bigger role (if it's clearly in one corner or side of the car), but unfortunately you can't find out the weight distribution on those drive up scales, only total weight.
