I just put new rear brake shoes on my 96 Grand AM with ABS and rear drums. Both rear brake cylinders were leaking so I replaced them.
I followed the shop manual procedure to the letter for bleeding the system but I just can't get the air out of the left rear brake cylinder. I must have run a quart and a half through it but I still get air out. I checked the new cylinder for leaks or a stuck piston but it's dry as a bone and both pistons move freely when the brake peddle is applied. Finally gave up after it got dark.
Anybody have an idea about what's going on?
