The engine's characteristics have changed due to the intake manifold. I'm assuming that your running an automatic, so you may have to match the stall speed on the torque converter with your desired launch RPMs.
Do you have a line-lock installed?
At what RPMs is the car launching at ( before & after the new manifold )?
