if it's the clutch thats out, the thing to look for is the tranny id# on the drivers side of the firewall. it will be 3 letters, either MM5 for the borg-warner trans or RMN for the MUA/Muncie. The RMN clutch is signifigantly more expensive, it is a 10 1/4" versus a 9 7/16" in the borg warner. if it has the RMN tranny, you could have 450.00 -500.00 into a clutch pack versus 180 - 250.00 for the borg warner. just something to think about, how much do you want to invest.
