2.5 Lift & Torn CV Boots
So I lifted my 03 Tundra with a 2.5 spacer kit maybe 12000 miles ago. Now both inside boots are trashed. The dealer, of course, says, no warranty work unless I drop it back down. Then he will do it at no cost. Of couse I want to keep the lift. Will I be looking at doing these boots every year? What else can I do to help the life expectancy of the boots while keeping the lift. One 4x4 shop person says that I should get way more milage without problems and that this was just a bad deal that both went out so early... For the record, not much off road with this truck (yet), lots of snow driving in 4-Hi.
Advice, Suggestions, Experiences ? Alternatives?
