Re: looking for a turbo setup for my LT1! Help

might want to look at something like these remote mount turbos.. Not a fan of them but I hear good things
http://www.ststurbo.com/lt1_camaro_dyno
or
http://www.fbodymotorsports.com/inc/...l?v=1&pid=9402

Are you lookin for a single? or twin? if you choose to go a custom route, you'l need (off the top of my head)
exhaust manifolds w/ a custom crossover pipe (single turbo), a turbocharger.. (Garrett T60 or even T76 perhaps?) an intercooler, fuel pump, AFRP, standalone fuel/engine managment system, (or something like a FAST pcm) bypass or blowoff valve, wastegate, All the piping, boost controller,

Also, if your serious about turboing that engine, and making big power, you'l want to keep that in mind while building it.. low compression, something like 8.5:1.. Forged everything, a turbo specific cam (call up comp cams, they'l be able to help you out with that) etc. etc.
There are an odd few people working on a complete turbo kit for the car, but I havent heard much about it recently..

You could run your question by the guys in the Forced induction forum? Or wait for the forced induction Guru (hypsi) to chime in and make a few suggestions
