After looking at my options for when I get my LT1 motor built up, beef the tranny, select the right gears, do some suspension work along with subframe connectors etc. it seems that the turbo setups for these cars are awesome!!! They can create pretty big horsepower and have less working parts to break compared to other big gain horsepower compenent systems.
Anyone know if there is a parts list of exactly what you need? The kits are expensive and if I could just buy the turbo and maybe certain other specific needed parts, it would seem to more cost effective than going with the kit. Or if there is a very cost effective kit out there, that would be cool. Someone should put together a "turbo kit" and start selling them for less than the big boys and they could clean up on e-bay or here on this forum and others!!! Like "here is everything you need, turn-key, with specific directions, turbo kit for your Camaro/ Firebird etc, etc, for half the price."
