I just wanted to reassure myself that i was thinking on the right page so i tracked down the torque curve of the ford lightning. It can be found here
http://www.stangnet.com/specs/lightning_torque.jpg Now that curve starts at around 350 goes up to 440 and then back down to around 350 or so. I found out that your engine produces a max of 380 torque. alright i have to head off for my morning classes now. Sorry if i seemed to rant about this.
