It's not that bowing your head for 20 seconds is a big deal. It's that his job is forcing him to do something for a religious purpose. That is NOT cool, and NOT legal. But to actually do it? Unacceptable. If he doesnt want to pray before his meal, then he just shouldn't pray.

What you just said seems pretty stupid to me.... You say "if he doesnt want to pray before his meal, then he just shouldnt pray" thats exactly the point. They're not forcing him to do shit for a religious purpose, all he has to do is stay quiet for 20 seconds while
THEY pray. If he's sitting there quietly, is he praying? Hell no... he's just waiting for them to finish.
Nobodies making him say the words, so how exactly is that forcing him to pray?? <--- Thats what i want to know
When i was at the table at my muslim friends house, were they forcing me to pray? Were they doing something not cool and not legal?
NO they were doing their OWN THING. Just like when this kid at his work is at the table, the people there are doing their OWN THING. He doesnt have to participate, nobodies forcing him to say the words.
What do you want them to do? Stop praying?
THAT seems pretty inconsiderate to me, making a group of people stop praying because of one persons selfishness.
