Did you remove the right hand side T-belt cover too? Gotta get them both out of the way. The belt travels very close to the inside edges of the covers so any slack caused by a weak tensioner pusher will cause the belt to hit the cover. The "knock" should subside at higher RPM's (if it's a weak tensioner) does it do this for you??
