Wink Re: Need info on training

Not to be to hard on you but you haven't indicated what your interests are as far as what type of training your seeking. Our assumptions are that since this an automotive forum that your interested in automotive training. The automotive field has many aspects to it. There are several specialized fields that you can recieve training for. Transmissions, Suspension, General engine, Advanced engine modifications, Rebuild Mechanic, Auto Body, Custom Vehicle Modifications, New car design for building vehicles from the ground up customizing each aspect. You get the idea. My suggestion would be to first determine your desires for what you want to do as your ultimate goal. Career or hobby. Working for some else your whole life, which most of us do, or eventually being the top dog. Next talk to some of the older people in your area that maintain a simular occupation as the one you decide you would like to attain. Next, make a list of small steps required to attain your long term goal.
If you want to be the big dog of a custom automotive development firm, business and management traing as well as mechanical engineering and general automotive mechanics training would be some of the items you put on your list. Hope this helps.
