Re: Tape Player Problem
Happens all the time in my player.
Here is what works for me. Use two very small screwdrivers that let you get under the cassette.Carefully lift the cassette up, so it clears the slot, now try to slide it out, a little wiggling with the screwdrivers help. It takes some time but with a little practice the cassette will slide out. Now, the problem, once you try to insert the cassette in again, it will go down, but not play again, so prior to pushing the tape back in I do the following. Use the small side of the cassette and push it in the slot, carefully, you will feel a little resistance, now, with a little pressure on the outside part of the cassette, downwards, you will notice that there is some sort of metal frame inside the player, that will now go up. Bring it all the way up until you hear a click. Now it should be safe again to insert the tape the correct way and listen to the music. You might have to repeat this a few times, I might not have it explained very well, but with a little practice this will work for you, and no, you do not have to take the radio out or apart.
