Your dad's truck sounds good.
However, I wouldn't say it is 425 horsepower unless the engine costs ALOT.
The heavily worked iron-headed 302 in my '78 Mont only makes around ~320 hp or so, and it has 10.2:1 compression and a 225/
[email protected] roller cam. A set of AFR 185's are in the works and would really wake it up.
The stock heads on 302's just stink from the factory. You can literally bolt on 80 hp with a new set of heads.
Get it broken in so we can see some burnout pictures!
