you know traction control is supposed to stop wheel spin but it does the same thing on my sunfire. I would just keep it off if it just lets the wheels spin. we got like 10 inchs of snow in the past couple days so I know how it feels go through slippery snow. I would get cinder blocks or just something heavy and put it in the trunk to get some more weight in the back, it helps with the traction since the rear end is so light. and don't accelerate fast off of a stop it doesn't help it kills what little traction there was.
