Engine check light on (code P1457)
I have a 2000 Honda Accord and an "engine check" light came on; the code reads P1457, which is, according to its description, "EVAP Emission Control System Leak Detected (Control Canister System)". I called the dealer asking how much would it be to change a catalytic converter (I thought, maybe, that's a problem), anyway, it's like 1,300 + tax! So, before rushing into anything, would anybody have an explanation or any other ideas why I have this problem? Appreciate it.
