Look at my post in the classifieds for a t3 turbo. About the rods you really dont need to go buy new fancy forged rods, have your stock rods to a machine shop and have them shot peened and resized. That will strengthen your rods well enough to run the boost levels you are talking about. I was running 10.5 psi on stock shot peened rods on a d series motor. You will have to get some turbo pistons with lower compression. I got JE forged pistons just for saftey and to make some more power. For fuel management you should get an FPR, larger fuel pump or an extra one, FMU or a SAFC or both. A turbo timer does not set boost, it keeps your car running after you take out the key so the turbo has time to cool off. You can get a manual boost controller($100) or an electronic boost controller($200-500). On my d16z6 I was making 187 with my set up using the stock cam.
