I know what Jasper's warranty is on the 2.7 is.The oil has to be changed exactly 3,000 miles, not before or after 3,000 and keep the reciepts for the oil changes. There is a cheaper way,a 2.7 to 3.2 conversion,I have done one.You need a 3.2l engine,3.2 computor, heater hose,a/c lines radatior and a/c condensor, front of exhaust and throttle cable. The 3.2l engine fits in with no problems. You also need the power steering pump and make sure the a/c compressor is still bolted on the 3.2l engine. My father bought a Chrysler concorde with a blown 2.7 and I converted it to a 3.2.It had more power, ran better without that piece of junk 2.7.I heard Jaspers warrenty on the 2.7 from a Jasper rep that comes in my father's shop once in a while

If you read the earlier posts, he said the engine is not making any sounds, therefore, there's no need to replace the engine. It's more than likely a faulty sensor. Don't create more work and waste money if you don't have to.
