Re: HELP!!! Oil pan gasket HELL

The crossmember doesn't connect to the suspension on my car. There are just nuts that hold it to the chassis. I had to lower it to get my transmission out. You will have to support the engine before you drop it out. But there should be 2 large nutsw/ studs on each side of the crossmember and then the engine mounts. After you take those off, it should come right out.

And don't use a gasket. Use RTV sealant with no gasket for a good seal. Good luck.
