Ialso had a similar problem with a bmw. found the fuel pump kept shutting down. was caused by e.c.m. Replaced e.c.m. was expensive, but was the problem. Also when Ever getting a jump,turn heater and four ways on.(helps absorb voltage spike) plus when getting a jump Always have someone positioned to pull the positive jumper off your battery the second your car starts. stops back feed voltage spike to e.c.m. hope this helps.
