ok so we changed out the fuel filter a couple days ago it was pretty nasty and put in fuel injector cleaner to help out the injectors, no doubt by the gross stuff coming out of the fuel filter they were a little gummed up too, however the problem isnt fixed...

the next thing we are looking into is a new ecm, because my hubby feels something may have been shorted or something when we got a boost the other day after having to stop abruptly for a car that was skidding across the ice and couldnt stop as well there is some play in the throttle cable that wasnt there before so we're gonna replace that too

otherwise things are still at the status quo with the car, turns over, runs for a few seconds and dies...
